An online preparatory “Green Talk” on energy efficiency in social housing and public buildings will take place on Thursday 15 April 2021 in Rabat, Morocco. The event is part of the High Level Forum on EU-Africa Green Investment, to be jointly organised by the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union and the European Investment Bank in Lisbon on 23 April 2021.
The aim is to give impetus to Lisbon by engaging in a dialogue on sustainable development solutions in Morocco and Africa, sharing best practices and experiences and innovative approaches.
The workshop will address the issue of energy efficiency in the social housing and public buildings sector, as well as the challenges and opportunities related to the use of financial mechanisms, an appropriate legislative framework and policies to promote sustainable energy.
In addition, it will focus on case studies and best practices to increase energy efficiency in social housing and public buildings.
