EU-funded INTECMED project will launch soon the e-Bazaar platform to connect investors and innovators across the Mediterranean.

To overcome the lack of coordination among different Mediterranean actors working with innovation at the local level and to facilitate interaction and synergies, the e-Bazaar will be an innovative platform based on a smart mechanism for searching and identifying the commercial interest of an investor with the research fields of the innovators.

In addition, the platform will also provide a matchmaking intercommunication through an Intelligent recommendation system that will take into account the profile, object and needs of an investor and will suggest potential ideal collaborations with innovators. The users will be able to communicate through collaboration requests, direct messages and instant notifications.

The main objective of the EU-funded INTECMED project is to develop an integrated innovation ecosystem at the local level to support technology transfer and commercialization of research results, in order to improve the linkages between the various innovation players, notably the science system and higher education, the government (especially at a local level), the private sector (mainly SMEs), and also the citizens.
