The European Commission published today a factsheet on relations between the EU and Tunisia featuring the main aspects of EU support to democratic transition in Tunisia and the progress in relations in 2015.
In November 2012, the EU and Tunisia concluded a “Priviliged Partnership” giving Tunisia a special status and reflecting the EU’s commitment to supporting its transition towards democracy, the factsheet explains.
The document states that the indicative allocation for Tunisia under the European Neighourhood Policy for the period 2014-2020 is between € 725 and € 886 million.(EU Neighbourhood Info)
