EUPOL COPPS – the EU Police Mission for the occupied Palestinian territories – supported on Wednesday 27 April 2016 an annual workshop on community policing in the Palestine College for Police Sciences (PCPS) in Jericho.
During this event, officers from all districts shared their experiences in the field of community policing and discussed best practices and next steps for moving forward, said a press release.
The EU Police Mission aims to contribute to the establishment of sustainable and effective policing arrangements and to advise Palestinian counterparts on criminal justice and rule of law, in accordance with the best international standards. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
