The Ministry of Equipment and Water in Morocco (MEW), is about to convert three buildings belonging to the MEW into water-efficient buildings.
Following the WES Training held in April 2024, WES organised a hybrid format meeting in Rabat, Morocco, on October 3, 2024 to present the Public Building Audit Guide that will serve as a basic document for any public service wishing to conduct a water audit.
The useful results and conclusions of the activity were discussed with the counterpart team of the Ministry of Equipment and Water and Public Services. The recommendations were taken into account for implementing the water-efficient buildings in question.
Meanwhile, the awareness-raising initiative for the dissemination of best practices in water use efficiency and water demand management among public users is in the priorities of the Ministry.
