” (…) It is a pleasure – even on this sad day – to welcome here again my friend and colleague, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Morocco [Nasser Bourita] for the 14th session of the EU-Morocco Association Council.
The holding of this Association Council was eagerly awaited and allowed us to mark the renewal of institutional relations between the European Union and Morocco, thus paving the way for the revival of our privileged relationship and our “Euro-Moroccan partnership” of shared prosperity “.
Today we concluded a joint political declaration that lays the foundations for our long-term relationship and will form the basis for our political dialogue and cooperation in the future. It is a very strong and ambitious joint political declaration.
