RESMYLE supports local communities to rationalize water consumption in south Lebanon

Youth for Better Sustainable Development is one of the projects implemented in Lebanon through the sub-grant of RESMYLE project. It aims at empowering the role of youth and promoting the goals of sustainable development namely goal six “clean water and sanitation” and goal ten “reduced inequality” through the establishment of activities and projects with young people in three districts in southern Lebanon with the direct participation of the residents.

One of these activities is the awareness campaign on “Rationalizing Water Consumption in the Sustainable Development Goals” implemented by Nabatieh Success club in partnership with the Arab Salim Volunteer Youth Assembly where 29 participants: 17 unemployed youths (10 women and 7 men) and 12 citizens (8 women – house wives and farmers / 4 men) from ArabSalim village participated and were introduced to the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and more specifically to goals six “Clean Water and Sanitation”.

The RESMYLE project aims to rethink the employment and social integration of Mediterranean youth through sustainable development. It mobilises 9 Mediterranean operators (cooperatives, associations, universities) in 5 countries (France, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon and Tunisia).
