Second UfM Regional Forum: Focus on role of youth for stability and development

Building on the success of the first edition of its regional forum, held in Barcelona on 26 November of last year, the Union for the Mediterranean is holding the second edition on the theme “Mediterranean in Action: Youth for Stability and Development” on 23 and 24 January 2017 in Barcelona,

The second UfM Regional Forum, centered around youth potential as driving force for stability and development, will bring together the region’s key players to review the UfM’s action-oriented collective activities and achievements and to discuss perspectives for strengthening cooperation, synergies and complementarities between the main stakeholders, including the promoters and beneficiaries of UfM projects, towards a better future for the Euro-Mediterranean region.
 
The Forum will be presided by the Co-Presidency of the Union for the Mediterranean, assumed by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini, and by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al Safadi.
