SOLE project technical seminar to look into financing strategies to improve energy use in public buildings

In the framework of knowledge sharing activities focused on energy rehabilitation in public buildings, the second technical seminar to be held under SOLE project on 30 March will underline the various options available for the improvement of energy use and energy efficiency in public buildings.

The seminar will address a variety of financing opportunities in this time of economic difficulties. In particular, issues such as innovative public procurement in social housing and the engagement of private parties in funding energy efficiency improvements in public buildings as well as ethical banking will be discussed.

A special focus will also be dedicated to blended funding (private and public): integration of national or regional grants and public funding with private investments, Collaborative Financing for Energy Transition and Sustainability and Investment Collaborative Platform.

EU-funded SOLE project supports cost-effective and innovative energy rehabilitations of public buildings. Through knowledge sharing on energy rehabilitation, the partners will define local plans adapted to each of the participating territories where pilot actions will be implemented.
