On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Blue Economy Program honored five inspiring entrepreneurs through the She’BlueHack competition.
The winners were recognized for their innovative projects in five categories:
Fisheries: Fatima Zohra Dahmani – Cetagard
Aquaculture: Karima Bougueroua – K-Marine
Marine Pollution: Rania Zemmouche Zerda – Universal Ralgea
Marine Biotechnology: Nour El-Houda Bourahla – Sarbella
Shipbuilding: Cheima Djebbar – Eco Marine GNL
The Blue Economy – Fisheries and Aquaculture program is funded by the European Union. It aims to improve the resilience and competitiveness of coastal communities and support job creation in the blue economy sectors, primarily through support for the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
