For the first time in history, COP27 (6-18 November 2022) will host a Mediterranean Pavilion, seeking to highlight both the pressing challenges facing the region and the innovative solutions already developed for a region seen as one of the most threatened by climate change.

The pavilion, promoted by the Union for the Mediterranean, the PRIMA Foundation, and UNEP-MAP, together with a group of competent organizations and a scientific committee, will host numerous activities and bring together key players from our region.

In this context, the IEMed organises this debate to offer different perspectives on climate change and to promote green growth and the energy transition in the Mediterranean in a context complicated by the war in Ukraine.
