In the framework of the EU-funded InnovAgroWoMed project, the team of the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research – CAWTAR, executive partner of the project, made a visit to the Thibar sectoral college of agricultural professional training (Beja-Tunisia).

The purpose of this visit was to present and discuss the developed training model with the professionals working there.

It was also an opportunity to meet with potential members of the local stakeholders network in order to discuss possible partnerships and to learn more about the local specificities as well as eventual challenges that the project may face during the implementation of the training program in the targeted regions.

The InnovAgroWoMed project aims at stimulating women’s labour market participation and entrepreneurship, by harnessing the potential of the agri-food sector and showing a significant level of untapped potential for innovation and growth. This three-year project is funded at 87% by the European Union through the ENI CBC Med Program for a global amount of €2,8 million euros.
