TunisiaTunisia : EU funds Startup ecosystem capacity building programme
Smart Capital, the national initiative Startup Tunisia’s operator, has launched in partnership with Innov’i – EU4Innovation – funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France – the programme « Ins and Outs of Ecosystem Building », a Startup Ecosystem Capacity Building Programme which is a component of Startup Tunisia, aiming at developing and connecting the local ecosystem.
This 100% online programme kicked off at the Global Entrepreneurship Week and its first phase is implemented from 16 November to 17 December. It targets more particularly the start-ups’ support structures.
« Ins & Outs of Ecosystem Building » is a series of free training modules, led by international expert leading structures such as Seedstars, Swisscontact, The camp, Paris&co, etc., who will address different topics linked to the start-ups ecosystem.
Different issues will be addressed in order to bring a more holistic understanding of the functioning of an innovation ecosystem while favouring experience sharing between local and international ecosystems. Personalized mentoring sessions will also be implemented for the participating structures.
Innov’i – EU4Innovation is a five-year programme that aims at strengthening the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation in Tunisia. It is funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France.
