Tunisia: EU project to hold Master classes in media management

The EU-funded OPEN Media Hub project is organising parallel Master Classes for broadcast, print and online media from Tunisia on 26-27 September in Tunis.
 
The Master Classes are specially designed for managers and senior editors of television, print and online media outlets and are intended to help them develop advanced management skills and to include their media organisations in the package of activities and services provided by the Media Hub over the next years.
 
The Print and Online Media Management Master Class will cover the integration of online, print and multi-platform content; paid content, additional sources of revenues; business planning; newsroom management, including integrated newsrooms; news workflow management, handling social media and user-generated content as well as “Foreign Desk” management.
 
The Broadcast Management Master Class will cover news coverage planning; newsroom management, including integrated newsrooms; news deployment / breaking news, usage of multiple sources.

The OPEN Media Hub project, funded under the OPEN Neighbourhood Programme, aims at creating a virtual media hub spanning the two regions, in order to contribute to the development of independent media and to a more accurate presentation of EU policies in the Neighbourhood regions, through the creation of a network of journalists.
