The second ELIFE programme centre, funded by the European Union and the “Agence Française de Développement” and supported by “Fondation Tunisie pour le Développement”, was inaugurated in the city of Beja, Tunisia, on 27 February.

Since the end of December 2020, this centre has welcomed 200 young unemployed graduates. After 12 months of practical, innovative and complementary training, these young people will be endowed with skills sought by companies in the digital sector.

The ELIFE programme fights unemployment and promotes equal opportunities in disadvantaged regions. Eventually, up to 5,000 young people will be welcomed each year in 10 centres located in the capitals of the governorates of the interior.
