Sayda Yacoubi, artisan and entrepreneur, has modernized traditional klim keffois weaving with her Lela Mna workshop, which has become a benchmark combining tradition and innovation. She oversees 47 artisans, ensuring impeccable quality in her creations (rugs, bedding sets, bags, etc.).

Thanks to the support of the  project implemented by UNIDO Tunisia, Creative Tunisia, Lela Mna was able to set up a showroom while maintaining workstations for women within the workshop. Funded by the European Union in Tunisia and the Italian Agency for Cooperation allo Sviluppo – AICS Tunisia, this support has enabled the workshop to strengthen its market position, modernize its business, and expand its online visibility to reach a wider customer base.

The project has played a key role in supporting female employment in a region where opportunities for women are often limited. By ensuring the sustainability of the workshop, Creative Tunisie has contributed to the empowerment of women, offering them a stable environment and the opportunity to develop their skills in a high added-value sector.
