Vocational education and training: Jordan workshop kicks off Torino Process fourth round

As part of the fourth round of the ETF’s Torino Process – a participatory analytical review of the status and progress of vocational education and training (VET) in the ETF partner countries – a group of 38 participants attended a workshop in Jordan.
The Torino Process is an important tool for Jordan to develop its labour market, education and training systems as its population continues to grow. Participants discussed different topics, including monitoring VET system developments.
The European Training Foundation is an agency of the European Union established to contribute to the development of the education and training systems of the EU partner countries. With an annual budget of €18 million, its mission is to help transition and developing countries to harness the potential of their human capital through the reform of education, training and labour market systems in the context of the EU’s external relations policy.
