The second MEDISS Partners Steering Committee (PSC) meeting was held online today 9 September. It was coordinated by the MEDISS lead partner, Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group (PWEG).

The MEDISS PSC is crucial for the success of the project and for the decision making process. It provides support, guidance and oversight of MEDISS progress and state of play and ensures delivery of the project outputs and the achievement of project outcomes.

PSC members should ensure that the strategy matches the project’s objective. They provide guidance to the project’s team and foster positive communication regarding the project’s progress and outcomes.

MEDISS project, ‘Mediterranean Integrated System for Water Supply’, addresses the issue of improving the quality of saline groundwater in the Mediterranean area, opening alternative irrigation options for higher quality and more diversified cultivations (dates, citrus, etc.).
