Following two Trainings and the Survey on Residential Water Use Efficiency, WES has successfully concluded its activity by organising a Consultation Workshop, on the 23rd of October 2023, at Ramla city, in the commune of Bejaia, Algeria.

During the Consultation, an overview of the WES national activity in Algeria was made by the team od WES water experts. By the end of the presentation of the activity’s results, the roadmap for scaling activity findings, and the opportunities for implementing water use efficiency measures/programs and their benefits, were thoroughly discussed between stakeholders. A set of possible actions to be implemented by the country, beyond the duration of the project, were put forward.

The raise of awareness among partners, beneficiaries and stakeholders of the options available to reduce water consumption and how it could be achieved, was one of the key themes of  this event.

The projection of the WES Video “Help us save a drop” on water demand management and use, along with the presentation of a communication action plan, proved to be effective communication tools to ensure the optimal dissemination of the results of this activity.
