MedaWomen 2018 Forum, one of the most iconic events about women entrepreneurship, will be held on 2-3 October 2018 in Amman, Jordan, in the framework of EU-funded EBSOMED project. This year’s edition will offer the opportunity for women in technology to take the center stage in order to address key opportunities and pressing issues in the Mediterranean region. Particularly, it will focus on influencing future perspectives and planning actions in the STEM sector (Science, Technology, Economics and Mathematics).

A Roadshow of the  EBSOMED  project under the theme of “The Incorporation of Women Entrepreneurs in the Digital Economy” will be implemented within the MedaWomen Forum. The  EBSOMED  project will be presented into detail, including the presentation of its main activities, goals and services. The roadshow will provide information about development and opportunities to small and medium-sized enterprises and will include workshops, seminars, training sessions, presentation of best practices and round-tables.

Co-financed by the European Commission, EBSOMED is a 4-year project which was officially launched in June 2018 in Tunis. The project aims at boosting the Mediterranean business ecosystem and promoting inclusive economic growth and job creation, by enhancing the private sector environment and namely the Business Support Organisations in the Southern Neighbourhood countries.
