The Young Mediterranean Voices programme, in partnership with the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies – University of Malta (MEDAC) has announced a call for participation to young leaders from the Euro-Mediterranean region for the third edition of the “YMV Malta Leadership Seminar” taking place virtually from 25 to 29 January 2021.

A group of selected participants will be engaged in a 5-day programme that will include formal and non-formal education tools, dialogue and networking activities and a combination of innovative methodologies, together with a variety of occasions for interaction. Capacity-building sessions will tackle topics related to cultural intelligence, leading-through-values, media narratives and policy formulation, as well as practicing advocacy with global, regional, and local political leaders.

A group of participants will start working with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) on topics of their own interest.

Those who are interested in participating in the event have to check the criteria and send their application before 15 December.

Young Mediterranean Voices builds on the successful precursor programme “Young Arab Voices” (YAV) launched in Alexandria in 2011 by the Anna Lindh Foundation and the British Council in response to the uprisings in the Arab region. YMV is funded through an Action Grant of the European Commission (DG NEAR), and co-financed by the Government of Finland and World Bank Group.
