We’re delighted to invite you to another thrilling instalment of our #VisitQaitbey photography walking tours – Season 3! Mark your calendars for Saturday, 28 December 2024, at 1:00 PM, and prepare to embark on an extraordinary expedition through the mesmerising “Desert of the Mamluks”, where even the most seasoned adventurers will uncover hidden treasures.
Guided by Amr Abotawila, architect and programmes manager from ARCHiNOS, this tour promises an exclusive journey through the enchanting narrow alleyways of one of Cairo’s most historically significant neighbourhoods. Photography lovers will relish the chance to capture the breathtaking 15th-century Mamluk monuments – a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers the perfect backdrop for your creative lens.
Location: Precise meeting point will be emailed to registered participants one day prior to the walk
Registration Fee: 300 EGP – 100% of proceeds will support Sultan Foundation’s upcoming winter camp for local children in the Qaitbey neighbourhood.
