The European Union Delegation to Lebanon offers a post of Accounts clerk . Under this post, the recruited person will be attributed functions depending on the needs of the Delegation. Upon recruitment, the successful candidate will occupy a specific job function as Accounts clerk – this job function may be changed in accordance with the needs of the Delegation. Under this job function the successful candidate will serve as technical and support staff to: 

  • Receive and register all invoices related to Admin expenses
  • Prepare payments
  • Assist in the procurement procedures and accommodation contracts of the Delegation
  • Register and Follow-up of Contracts
  • Follow up and commit on the Delegation budget
  • Close the impress accounts at the end of the month
  • Extract reports and statements for the revision of expenses
  • Prepare internal notes
  • Calculate the expenses for Local Agents among which salaries, allocations, indemnities, insurance, retroactive salaries…

All of the above under the supervision and responsibility of the relevant head of section.  

Fixed Term Employment contract of 2 years duration after a 3 months probationary period. The length of the working week shall be 37.5 working hours. The post falls under Group III with a starting basic salary 4.258.412 L.L. We offer a competitive position in an international environment.
