Horizon 2020 is currently the major EU Research and Innovation program with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). Since Tunisia has become an associate country, according to the agreement signed on December 1, 2015 with the EU and ratified by the ARP on March 1, 2016, it has access to the opportunities offered by the Program H2020.
Researchers and innovators from Tunisia will now be able to participate in Horizon 2020, the EU’s framework program for research and innovation, under the same conditions as their counterparts from EU Member States and other associate countries.
