The Industrial Research Institute, partner of the MAIA-TAQA project invites you to take part in the Request of Proposal procedure for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant on its premises at Lebanese University Campus (Hadat), Lebanon.
The wastewater treatment plant aims to treat 20 m3/day and it will include the following main components:
- 1) Settlement tank and screening for solid separation
- 2) Neutralization system
- 3) Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) unit for oil and grease separation
- 4) Advanced Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) for biological treatment
Also, a solar photovoltaic system will be used to operate as back-up power source.
In addition, the treated water will be used for irrigation.
