The European Endowment for Democracy (EED) has launched a call to tender for web redevelopment services. Deadline for submitting bids: 21 December 2017. Bidders should be available to start the project in early 2018.

EED – a grant-giving organisation that supports civil society actors struggling for democratic change in the countries of the EU Neighbourhood and beyond – is looking for the services of a creative, innovative and reliable company to redevelop and redesign our website to reflect our organisation’s values and ethos.

EED’s multilingual website is the primary channel for information sharing and presenting results, stories and opportunities of the grants scheme. The main objective for the website revamp is to enhance the user’s experience and incorporate a fresh new look, whilst improving the responsiveness of the design to make the site easier to view on multiple devices.

The current website was launched in 2013. We have built a large and consistent flow of traffic through our website (90,000 unique visitors and 300,000 page views to date in 2017). However, almost five years on from creation, the site now requires a technical overhaul and a design revamp to build intuitive navigation and improve overall architecture. The new website design should offer a clean, secure, engaging and user-friendly digital presence.
