The “Civil Society Organisations and Local Authorities” programme aims at supporting CSOs’ and LAs’ contributions towards reinforced governance, accountability and inclusive policymaking, as envisaged in the “Multiannual Indicative Programme for the period 2014-2020” (hereafter MIP).
Thus the general objective of this Call for Proposal is to support LAs’ contribution towards reinforced governance, accountability and inclusive policymaking in the framework of the MIP.
The specific objective of this call for proposals is to enhance Palestinian Local Authorities’ contribution to governance and development processes in Area C, as a precondition for more equitable, open and democratic society.
This call for proposals covers therefore priority one of the MIP. Support will be provided to enhance LA’s contribution to governance and development processes in Area C as:
i. Actors of enhanced local governance;
ii. Welfare providers and promoters of inclusive and sustainable growth at the local level.
iii. Tester of pilot actions promoting local development through territorial approach (Territorial Approach to Local Development – TALD).
