The trainee will assist Programme Officers South with a range of tasks including reviewing proposals from Southern Neighbourhood countries and beyond, monitoring/assessing ongoing projects, collecting and providing information about EED partners’ work and assisting with arranging events and advocacy meetings for relevant EED partners.
EED seeks a candidate who has an interest in and clear understanding of the work and dynamics of civil society, good knowledge of the region’s political context, and strong (preferably fluent) Arabic language skills. Knowledge of other languages from this region would be an asset.
