“Support to the National Council for Human Rights” is a project funded by the European Union in cooperation with National Council for Human Rights in Egypt. If you are looking for an exciting job in the field of human rights, they are recruiting a Financial and Procurement officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bring exceptional work ethics and coordinative working style to carry outa successful program. Overseeing the financial strategic planning of the program and evaluate its performance and potential risks
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget procedure as well as to budget implementation and monitoring.
  • Prepare the financial reports for the European Union.
  • Oversee all the financial operations and financial planning of the project funded by the European Union.
  • Review financial commitments so to optimize administrative budget execution at the end of the year.
  • Establish clear objectives and target, develop budget and perform rigorous financial analysis.
  • Ensure that the council finances and disbursements are running smoothly by assessing the market and identify solutions to obstacles and issues as well as preparing reports.
  • Prepare the financial papers for the contracting of consultants and the launch of tender files.
  • Contribute to the drafting of reference manuals or guidelines for the financial actors involved in the execution of the project.
  • Perform regular financial analysis
  • Supervise audits and internal control process
  • Guarantee compliance with financial laws and guidelines
  • Facilitate all disbursement on time for the work flow related to technical output
