The EU Delegation to Libya offers a post of Programme Officer – EUTF Local Trust Fund Officer in the EU Delegation to Libya in the Cooperation Section. The EU Delegation to Libya employs a gender-balanced team of currently more than 20 staff members. The place of employment of the Programme Officer is Tripoli.
The successful candidate will work under the overall management of the Head of Cooperation Section.
Type of contract
Please note that this post is financed under the EU Trust Fund North Africa and is limited in time (no indefinite contract can be granted).
The first contract is for an initial duration of 2 years, with one possible extension, subject to budget availability.
Overall purpose
Contribute, under the supervision of the EU Trust Fund Manager for the North of Africa window
and of the immediate hierarchical superior in the EUD i.e. the Head of Cooperation, to the
management of the EU Emergency Trust Fund for stability and addressing root causes of
irregular migration and displaced persons in Africa, North of Africa window (EUTF NoA window),
in compliance with its articles of incorporation and the procedures established by the Board of the
Fund for the country of posting and responsibility (Libya). Contribute to the successful transition
of migration programming under NDICI.
