The European Union Delegation to Israel is looking for a Programme Officer on International Aid / Cooperation.
Upon recruitment, the successful candidate will occupy a specific job function as Programme Officer on International Aid / Cooperation – this job function may be changed in accordance with the needs of the Delegation.
The successful candidate will work for the Operations section under the supervision of the Head of Section. He/she will participate in the identification, implementation, monitoring, contract management and evaluation of EU funded programmes supporting Civil society organisations and Local authorities, as well as the communication service contracts of the section, will contribute to the draft and update of comprehensive reports and annual reports.
The post requires both an understanding of the political context and an important part of administrative work. He/she may also be required to be Communication Correspondent (ComCord) for the Delegation and contribute to produce news, success stories, visuals and case studies with positive communication potential for the Delegation.
