EDU-SYRIA, funded by the European Union and managed by the German Jordanian University, Amman is seeking an energetic, proactive, and service-focused person to join our team as a Project Officer.
The Project Officer position plays a key role in implementing the project plan, ensuring that tasks and activities are carried out according to the schedule and that resources are allocated effectively. The position is responsible for the day-to-day management of EDU-SYRIA sub-programs including reporting, documentation, coordination, and liaison with relevant stakeholders. The Officer will also manage the project’s public visibility and managing its social media presence.
About EDU-SYRIA:
EDU-SYRIA Scholarship Program is a humanitarian project to improve the livelihood options of Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanian youths in Jordan through having access to higher and vocational education and improving their employability. German Jordanian University is the administrative and management body of the project via a consortium of international and local organizations in addition to public and private academic institutions, namely, DAAD, NUFFIC, QRTA, JUST, YU, MU, ZU, and LTUC. Since 2015 EDU-SYRIA provided more than 4000 educational and non-educational scholarships, and as we are expanding our project under a new funding opportunity, we are actively seeking individuals to join our team and contribute to our growth.
