Brief Description

The overall objectives of the project are to strengthen the capacity and accountability of civil society organisations and to facilitate their involvement in political decision-making processes, and institutional framework.

In order to achieve this, the Facility aims to:

· reinforce existing initiatives that support Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the Neighbourhood South,
· increase the visibility and efficiency of the CSOs activities in Southern Neighbourhood,
· encourage their involvement in policy dialogue at national levels.

The CSF South programme seeks to improve the capacity of the potential CSOs to make a difference by providing support to projects funded by the EU in the Southern Neighbourhood partner countries; by fostering exchange and networking opportunities among CSOs and improving the visibility of their work in the region.
