The report presents EED’s work in the area of independent media, and reflects on lessons learned during six years of media and democracy support.
Published to coincide with the ‘Global Conference for Media Freedom: London 2019’ organised by the UK and Canadian governments, this key report offers an analysis of the worrying trends and challenges faced by media today.
It calls for an urgent re-set in thinking about donor support to media in the UK neighbourhood and offers recommendations for the wider donor community.
