SPEAK UP CARTOONS! 2021 marks the first edition of comic strips collected by the European Union (EU) funded regional communication programme for the Southern Neighbourhood countries, the EU Neighbours South. Young artists from the region have created every strip and every drawing. Hailing from various countries, they are united by talent. They reflect the Southern Mediterranean: Creative, Vibrant and Promising!
EU Neighbours South is the EU’s Regional Communication Programme for the Southern Neighbourhood. It aims to raise awareness, increase knowledge and improve public understanding of the European Union and its policies, enhance strategic communication actions and build resilience against disinformation in the Southern Neighbourhood.
