As a child, Sarah discovered a passion for media, eventually leading her towards content creation. Sarah’s deep love for Algerian heritage acted as a guiding light, inspiring her to showcase and preserve the diverse and vibrant cultural tapestry of her cherished homeland.


The content Sarah creates is rich and diverse, but her passion resides in the exploration and celebration of Algerian cultural heritage. Among her vast collection of creations, one video holds a special place in her heart—a poignant narrative depicting the story of “Bleu de Shanghai,” a traditional Algerian male outfit. This piece, lovingly filmed with her father, intertwines familial bonds with a passion for history, captivating her audience with its authenticity and emotional depth.

To Sarah, the European Union (EU) is more than a political entity; it represents her first trip abroad, an opportunity for personal growth, and a profound human experience. It sparked her curiosity and opened her eyes to new possibilities, fostering an appreciation for cultural exchange and the power of unity.


Aware of the pressing challenges facing young people in her region, Sarah believes that work opportunities, access to training, and increased exchange programs are vital for their development. She recognizes the EU’s pivotal role in facilitating language travel and advocating for more exchange programs like Erasmus, nurturing a sense of solidarity and promoting innovative and artisanal projects through financial support.


Sarah’s favourite quote, spoken by her late grandmother, carries a timeless wisdom: “The one who dreams is better than the one who waits, and the one who waits is better than the one who loses hope.” Guided by this mantra, she firmly believes in never giving up and she encourages others to fight for their dreams.

On 7 May 2022 and during a LIVE session in the presence of 12 EU Goodwill Ambassadors from the Southern Neighbourhood, the EU Neighbours South Programme launched the 2nd edition of the #InTheirEyes, a competition aimed at digital influencers in eight countries of the Southern Neighbourhood: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia.
