CREACT4MED is holding its final Regional Alumni Network event titled: Creative Minds, Sustainable Futures: Fostering SDGs through CCI Entrepreneurship in the Mediterranean. The Regional Alumni Networks Events are events aiming at providing knowledge and skills to young entrepreneurs from the Southern Mediterranean Region to further promote the professional development and networking opportunities of the capacity-building beneficiaries of the CREACT4MED project (from both the Sub-granting Scheme and Training Academy).

The Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) play a pivotal role in the Mediterranean region’s social, economic, and cultural fabric. This diverse industry includes art, design, film, music, literature, crafts, and more. Given their societal impact, CCI actors have the potential to significantly contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of CREACT4MED’S Regional Alumni Event series, this webinar aims to explore how CCI entrepreneurs can align their projects with SDGs to foster sustainability and make a positive impact on their environments.

In this session, we will discuss the relevance of aligning cultural entrepreneurial projects with Sustainable Development Goals, both from an environmental, social, as well as an economic perspective. With a focus on the circular economy, the session will explore the ways in which entrepreneurs can integrate this strategy effectively into their projects and provide practical guidance on how to do so. Illustrated through success stories and best practices,  by the end of the webinar, participants will have a deeper understanding the importance of SDGs to CCI, gain knowledge on the benefits of the circular economy, and learn how to incorporate sustainable practices into their projects.
