TunisiaConference: Sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean in the post-COVID situation
The conference discusses the current situation of Mediterranean tourism, in a COVID and Post-COVID context. It will assesse the tourism situation in Mediterranean countries in the 2010s, and explain the reasons of the over-touristic phenomena observed till 2019.
Co-organised by the IEMed as part of the Aula Mediterrània 2021-22 programme in collaboration with theMaster’s in International Studies – Organizations and International Cooperation, UB, it also focuses on the measures taken in several countries to relaunch tourism, and discusses tourism in the post-COVID area and the need for a new tourism development paradigm.
