EDU-SYRIA/EDU-JORDAN programme announces that the door is now open for youth from underprivileged Jordanian and Syrian refugees to apply for Entrepreneurship Training Scholarship Programme” (ETSP) in Partnership with Luminus ShamalStart.
This programme aims to provide proper entrepreneurial training and office space for 40 groups formed of Jordanian and Syrian youths to transform their progressive ideas into actual projects that can best serve their local communities.
It targets entrepreneurs with promising ideas in manufacturing, textiles, handicrafts, and service-based hardware with other related services, which will take place through the Business Accelerator at Luminus ShamalStart, which enables them to confidently enter and navigate the business world. With access to FabLab Irbid – a state-of-the-art manufacturing space – the first of its kind in Jordan and one of the 20 largest digital fabrication laboratories in the world.
The EU-funded EDU-SYRIA/EDU-JORDAN scholarship project, led by the German Jordanian University in partnership with multiple institutes, has awarded over 1,800 scholarships so far, with the aim of providing 3,000 scholarships by the end of the project’s tenure.
