EMNES rebranded as the EU-Mediterranean and African Network for Economic Studies – EMANES

The Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies – EMNES is officially enlarged to Africa and is rebranded as the EU-Mediterranean and African Network for Economic Studies – EMANES.

The EU-Mediterranean and African Network for Economic Studies (EMANES) is a collaborative and innovative regional network of 34 economic and policy research institutions and think tanks from 18 countries in Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa, working towards a renewed vision for socio-economic development that brings prosperity, sustainability, inclusion and resilience.

EMANES, formerly EMNES, was founded in 2014 with the financial support of the European Union under Grant Contract no. ENPI/2014/354-488 (2014-2019). As of January 2020, EMANES is coordinated and funded by the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association.
