Different stakeholders and experts from public and private sectors engage in supporting Jordan’s efforts to drastically reduce the death toll on its roads. Organized by the EU-funded EuroMed Transport Support Project and the Jordanian Ministry of Transport, a two-day workshop has been held in Amman, to highlight Jordan’s efforts at improving road safety by the accession to and implementation of international conventions.

The EuroMed Transport Support Project (EuroMed TSP), to be implemented from 2017 to 2022, is an EU-funded project which contributes to the creation of an integrated transport system in the Mediterranean and supports the Southern Mediterranean Partner Countries in the implementation of the regulatory aspects of the Regional Transport Action Plan 2014-2020 specifically in the field of road and urban transport.
