June 10, 2018, The High Representative/Vice-President of the EU. Federica Mogherini, visited the German Jordanian University to attend the recognition of achievement ceremony of the EDU-SYRIA graduates.
“We can’t give you back your past but we can help you shape your future” Federica Mogherini addressed 145 Jordanian and Syrian newly-graduates at the German Jordanian University.
The HR/VP visit was accompanied by the EU Ambassador to Jordan Andrea Matteo Fontana, the German Ambassador Birgitta Siefker-Eberle, the Ministry of Higher Education and the German Jordanian University president Prof. Manar Fayyad.
About the EDU-SYRIA Project:
EDU-SYRIA is an EU funded project to help vulnerable Jordanians from the refugees host communities and Syrian refugees in Jordan to get access to higher education through a set of scholarship programs.
