EU funded programme SOLiD Conference for “The Promotion of Social Dialogue in the Southern Mediterranean”

The SOLiD (South Med Social Dialogue) First Conclusive Conference for “The Promotion of Social Dialogue in the Southern Mediterranean” took place on the 2nd of October 2018 in Marrakech, Morocco.
After an Opening Session led by the project coordinators and partners and EU delegation representative, a conference highlighted the need for strong Social Dialogue and Sustainable Development in the Southern Neighbourhood.
The Second Session was an opportunity to present the pilot project SOLiD and its outputs, including the “Charter of Social Dialogue in the Southern Mediterranean”.

The South Mediterranean Social Dialogue, SOLiD is a three years pilot programme aiming to strengthen Dialogue Capacity among the Social partners, Civil Society and Governments to project a sustainable and a stable institutionalized Social Dialogue in Tunisia, Morocco and Jordan.

SOLiD is co-funded by the European Union (80%) and the International Trade Union Confederation. It is coordinated by a consortium which consists of 10 members.
