150 YoungMedVoices, intercultural experts and educators united last April in Malta to launch a call to action for investment in the “Mediterranean Generation”.

In preparation to the landmark Summit of the Two Shores, their goal is to partner with policy makers and tear down prejudices about cultures and young people, no matter what nationality, gender, religion or background. New views and ideas related to: intercultural dialogue, diversity, cultural intelligence and equal opportunities for youth from both shores of the Mediterranean, were exposed.

Watch the video released for the occasion.

Young Mediterranean voices is the flagship debate and Dialogue programme connecting civil society, education and policy-makers across the southern Mediterranean and Europe. The programme provides a pioneering platform to open doors for young influencers to shape policy and media narratives. It is grounded on the positive experience of Young Arab Voices launched in 2011 by the Anna Lindh Foundation and British Council and it benefits from the support of the European Union.
