The UfM Secretariat has participated in the virtual meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI) Management Board to discuss potential responses to the educational challenges and opportunities of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Specific proposals on issues such as new relevant study programmes or the digital transformation of teaching and training were developed in preparation of the EMUNI Senate meeting, set to take place today also by videoconference.

The members of the board congratulated the EMUNI network for the two projects recently selected for EU funding. The VISION project will address the future of teaching and training for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. The MED2laH project will provide Higher Education institutions with capacity building for internationalisation.

The Presidents of EMUNI and the Euromed University of Fes (UEMF), both UfM supported-projects, agreed to strengthen the collaboration between the two institutions and to reschedule, jointly with the UfM, the conference on the ‘“Internationalisation of Higher Education Institutions in the Euro-Mediterranean’” that was initially planned for April. The new date will be announced shortly.
