Jordan: BEEP team discusses renovation of historic buildings with local stakeholders

Under the framework of the EU- ENI CBC MED, BEEP project organised the technical workshop “BIM for Energy Efficiency in the Public Sector” in Jordan.

The workshop focused on informing attendees about the benefits of the BIM methodology for the energy renovation of buildings. Representatives from different institutions, ministries & local municipalities were briefed on the progress that Sterling is making on the H-BIM model that will represent the constructive system and technological characteristics of the “Municipal Guest House of Al Karak Municipality”.

BEEP project aims at strengthening the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to enhance energy efficiency in buildings. The project main outcome will be an innovative methodology based on the integration of emerging technologies tested on 9 heritage public buildings located in Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Egypt.
