Lebanon: applications now open for “Supporting the private sector in Beirut” programme

The LINKED Consortium announced the start of the programme “Supporting the private sector in Beirut”. Until October 22nd, applications are open for MSMEs to participate.

The project aims to support micro, small and medium entreprises with tailored technical assistance, cash grants, financial management support, referral to access loans and advisory to strengthen decent work conditions at the workplace.

With the Beirut programme, the aim is to strengthen the resilience of MSMEs affected by the explosion of August 4th, 2020 and the ongoing economic, social and political crisis.

The Linked Consoritum is a multi-stakeholder EU-funded partnership between four NGO’s (DRC Middle East, Oxfam in Lebanon, Mercy Corps – Lebanon, Al Majmoua). It aims to contribute to sustainable economic development of vulnerable job seekers, Syrian refugees and Lebanese host communities in Lebanon and to strengthen the resilience of MSMEs affected by the Beirut blast.
