The Libya Stabilisation Facility held its first meeting on Thursday 12 May, attended by Prime Minister Fayez Serraj and representatives of donor countries. The European Union, one of the donors, was represented by the Head of the EU Delegation to Libya Ambassador Nataliya Apostolova.
The Libya Stabilisation Facility is a Libyan-led initiative, supported by the international community, which aims at the rehabilitation of war-affected public service facilities including electric power, water and sewerage networks, health care institutions and other infrastructures, thus alleviating some of the sufferings of the Libyan people.
