TunisiaMEDSTAT V welcomes group leaders at its first training activity
The training course ”Management of teams and projects” for working group leaders took place between 1-4 November 2022 in Istanbul, Turkiye. Coordinators of six thematic and five horizontal working groups from Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia were trained by MEDSTAT V experts. The training allowed participants to strengthen their leadership competencies. Coordinators discussed project management procedures, exchanged knowledge and experiences on practical tools for effective management of groups in a multilingual and
multicultural environment.
MEDSTAT V is the regional statistical programme in the Southern Neighbourhood countries, funded by Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), managed by Eurostat. MEDSTAT V aims to improve the development, production and dissemination of reliable and comparable statistical data in the Southern Neighbourhood region as well as to strengthen the institutional capacity of the partner countries’ National Statistical Institutes and other producers of official statistics. Work undertaken by MEDSTAT V working groups falls under three key clusters: business, social and environmental statistics.
