The Moroccan Prison Observatory «OMP» is organizing the closing conference of the project “For a reform of the penal and prison legal system guaranteeing the protection of human rights and the dignity of detainees” («Pour une réforme du système juridique pénal et carcéral garante de la protection des droits humains et de la dignité des détenu(e)s »), cofounded by the European Union, on 31 March at 6 p.m.
This conference will present the main results achieved by the project over the last three years, and will assess the progress, stakes and challenges related to the issues addressed by the project at the national level. It will also be an opportunity to recall the recommendations of civil society for the implementation of the penal and prison reform, the humanization of the conditions of detention and the widening of the field of freedoms.
